traditional solutions
the traditional radiator core is usually finned structure, it is made by plate bent welding or block machining and milling. owing to the process limitations, the fin structure is mostly one-dimensional planar structure. it is difficult to maximize the heat dissipation area in the finite core space.
3d printing and structure optimization
based on the thermal analysis of products, it can be more flexible to use special-shaped surface, space lattice structure and other large surface area features, to achieve optimization and heat exchange. in the meanwhile, it can realize the promotion of the cooling efficiency of radiator core, in the case of no adding of product quality and core volume (or even reduction of volume). besides, special lattice structure is adopted. compared with the traditional fin type radiator, the cooling efficiency is increased by 20%, the quality is reduced by 35%.
